Tribe Natural Sea Sponges are organically grown and sustainably harvested by hand from the Mediterranean Sea by specially trained divers who leave the ‘roots’ of every sponge intact to ensure that the sea sponges regenerate themselves. The sponges then professionally trimmed and carefully cleaned using environmentally responsible processing methods. All sponges are inspected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and export certified.
Tribe Natural Sea Sponges have the finest pores of all other sea sponges commercially available, making them very absorbent and durable. Unlike synthetic alternatives, they contain enzymes which naturally inhibit the growth of bacteria and odours. They have a soft, velvety texture, hypoallergenic, 100% biodegradable, perfect for even the most sensitive skin and ideal for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
Size: 2.5 – 3 inches diameter. Please note that sponges can be irregular shape. Suitable for adults, children and safe for babies.
