Kidney & Liver Detox Tea

This herbal tea blends time-honoured liver regenerating herbs Artichoke, Dandelion and Milk Thistle. Chicory Root is a popular diuretic which assists in the elimination of toxins from the kidneys. Borututu bark is one of nature’s most powerful tonics for cooling and cleansing the blood, bowels and liver. Great Celandine protects the liver from any harmful organisms. Yellow Dock promotes bile flow from the liver and assists an under-functioning liver to get rid of toxins, waste products and excess hormones. Stevia has been linked with protecting the liver and reduces bitterness. Raspberries contain ellagin acid which assists in neutralising free radicals and thereby reducing cell damage in the organs. This herbal remedy also helps to prevent gallbladder and kidney stones. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Ingredients: Borututu (Cochlospermum angolense) bark*, Artichoke (Cynara cardunculus var. scolymus) leaves*, Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) leaves*, Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) seed*, Greater Celandine (Chelidonium majus) leaves & flowers*, Chicory (Cichorium intybus) root*, Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus) root*, Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) fruit*, Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) powder* * Certified Organic

Suggested use: Shake well before every use to ensure correct ratio of herbs. Add two teaspoons (around 4g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Add a slice of lemon if desired.
